We finally got around to doing some stuff around the house this weekend. First of all, I went to a craft night with one of my new neighbors, Liz, and we made these adorable Christmas trees. I only finished the first one at the craft night but finished the other two today. For someone who isn't particularly crafty, I think they turned out okay. And they were pretty easy!
Kraig has been working on painting some of our furniture and today he finished! They look so good and I was finally able to unpack all my books. The bookshelf:

I bought both of these pieces of furniture at the D.I. for around $15 or less. And now they finally look nice.
